Committee

NUMHC is run by a student led committee comprising of 17 individuals this year - ranging from Captains and Social Secs to dedicated Welfare Officers and a Treasurer. Come meet our committee for the 2024/25 season.

Teams

NUMHC runs 4 teams playing every Wednesday in BUCS and 4 sides every Saturday in the Yorkshire & North East Leagues. The club is highly competitive and has big aspirations for the coming season, now that our 1s are in the National League.

Newcastle University Ladies Hockey Club

NULHC is a friendly and inclusive club whilst also being very successful and of a high standard . NULHC won the prestigious Club of the Year Award at Newcastle University AU awards evening in 2019.  We have 7 teams, making us the largest sports at Newcastle University, meaning more hockey, more fun, and hopefully more promotion!!

Committee

There are 27 members on the committee for NULHC from President to Social Secretary to Welfare Officers who all work together to ensure the club is run smoothly. Come meet our committee for the 2024/25 season.

Teams

NULHC runs 7 teams, which are entered in the Saturday and BUCs Leagues. All teams play at a high standard and are very competitive. Our recent successes include 12 promotions and 3 cup finals across the 2 seasons prior to the pandemic.

Latest News!

Our annual Club Day was held on the 16th November 2024. We had NCL Marrow come down to get sign ups, Newcastle Carers sharing the great work they do and pizza from Great North Pizza! 

 

We raised £1070 for Breast Cancer over the last two weeks. We held a social, where our members bought t-shirts and the money went to charity. https://gofund.me/7c597bcc​. We also supported Movember this year! See our events page to see what we do to support the cause.
